Wine has been grown in the Narbonne country since Antiquity. There is a wide range of classified wines in the area where sun and wind work hand in hand to strengthen the vines. Thanks to the enormous progress in quality over the past thirty years, they can now compete with the best. Attention all wine lovers, there are many discoveries to be made!

AOC Minervois
96 % of the production in this area is red. It covers 5,100 hectares, from la Montagne Noire to the north, to the hinterland of Narbonne and beyond, towards Béziers and Carcassonne. The Canal du Midi flows through it, a waterway which for centuries carried the wine away to other regions on pinardiers (tank barges). It is here that the winegrowers revolt started in 1907, caused by over-production and a fall in prices.
