| A change of key … The composer of the theme music for Follow That Guy with the One Black Shoe has no objection to considering other, shall we say more oenological, types of score. He was honoured to become patron of the newly launched city wine, Narbo 118. |
Vladimir Cosma : "The rare privilege of witnessing the birth of a wine" |

“I’m not fond of planned visits. I get much more inspiration breathing in the air of a city, strolling around its streets and speaking to the people. Narbonne is the ideal place to do this. People here know what the word welcome means - plus they have that added Mediterranean touch and the convivial eating habits I enjoy so much.
As I am an amateur of good wine, I was delighted to be chosen as patron of the Narbo 118 auction in December 2005. It was a generous gesture, in the image of Narbonne. All profits go to build water towers in Burkina Faso. I’ve had the rare privilege of witnessing the birth of a wine, from the purchase of the land in the Quatourze area in 2003, to it’s oak ageing in that most singular of monuments, the Horreum, a Roman warehouse.”
